To become a center of excellence for the Master’s Program in Social Welfare Studies at the national level and a leading institution in Southeast Asia with both global and local sensitivity.

- To develop a high-quality curriculum and research works in Social Welfare Studies that meet national and international standards through an interdisciplinary or multidisciplinary approach.
- Examining alternative solutions to social problems based on the values of the humanities within the field of Social Welfare Studies, at local, regional, and national levels.
Objectives
Based on the vision and mission at the University, Faculty, and Study Program levels, as well as referring to the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology Regulation (Permendikbud) Number 53 of 2023, which emphasizes the strategic role of higher education in advancing the nation’s intellectual life and promoting science and technology for sustainable national development—the objectives of the Master’s Program in Social Welfare Studies are formulated in accordance with the Study Program’s mission as follows:
- To conduct a high-quality, research-based teaching process that meets national and international standards.
- To produce excellent, globally recognized research works through interdisciplinary or multidisciplinary approaches.
- To enhance students’ abilities and skills in solving social problems based on humanistic values through the development of social planning and policy, at local, regional, and national levels.
- To strengthen students’ abilities and skills in solving social problems based on humanistic values through the development of social development program management and evaluation, at local, regional, and national levels.
- To improve students’ abilities and skills in solving social problems based on humanistic values through the development of humanitarian service organization management, at local, regional, and national levels.
Graduate
Able to perform managerial functions in social development and social welfare using a collaborative interdisciplinary or multidisciplinary approach based on humanitarian values.
